Wouldn't he be amused with the wordplay of fish politics in North Carolina? "Red drum, striped bass, spotted trout, out!"
 
Almost unnoticed amid the state budget controversy is the game fish bill (HB 353), which would change the face of fisheries management by granting recreational fishermen exclusive access to speckled trout, red drum and striped bass.
