The Season for Short Rigs

The rigs just a short ride out from Venice, Louisiana, are hard for any fishermen to pass up.
Sam Barbera is known across Southeast Louisiana as The Prince of the Pontchartrain. That’s because the executive director of the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Foundation would rather catch speckled trout at the waterbody’s Causeway Bridge than eat a prime cut of Wagyu steak topped with crab meat.
