Dr. Gibson was one of the first recipients of a Science of Conservation Marine Scholarship and completed her Ph.D. at the Center for Sportfish Science and Conservation at the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi AND she has been featured on Discovery Channel’s Shark Week!
